I love what I do and maybe that’s why I am successful at being an Oriflame Entrepreneur. What are your dreams and aspirations in this wonderful world of Oriflame Cosmetics? Being a Awesome Woman Entrepreneur in Oriflame is not easy but here are a few of my thoughts being a Awesome Woman Entrepreneur .
Be Easy to Work With.
Stand up for what you believe in, but don’t deliberately cause problems. Never put obstacles in the path of customers or other entrepreneurs who want to do business with you. If you’re going to take a stance, make sure it’s for a good reason and not for the sake of being right. Make it easy and pleasant to do business with you so that people want to work with you…and come back to you again and again.
Encourage Awesome Entrepreneurs.
Being an awesome woman entrepreneur means that you’re always giving back. Pay attention to up and comers who could use the boost of your encouragement. A shout out in social media costs you little but could mean the world to someone else. Always remember what it was like when you were up and coming and be the gift that you wish existed for you.
Be Awesome at What You Do.
Women have to prove themselves more. So be the best at what you do. Only by continuously striving to be the best and existing as a constant work in progress will you always be an awesome entrepreneur. And by being the best at what you do, you’ll find that you not only have to prove yourself less often, but you’ll be setting the stage for women who come after you.
Focus on the Work
Always keep your focus on the work. When your emotions come into play, they can be an asset that you can draw on, or they can get in the way—it’s really up to you. Focusing on the work means not letting emotions get in the way or get out of control, and making decisions with logic and reason.
Don’t get me wrong—your emotions can be a tremendous asset. It’s your heart that brings compassion, empathy, and strength to your work and to the impact you can have on the world. But to be an awesome entrepreneur, you must have control over those emotions and not let them get in the way of the work.
Teach Your Daughters.
As women entrepreneurs, it’s our job to teach our daughters to be fearless and strong and to live without limitations. Start by being an amazing example, but look for opportunities to lead the next generation to their own style of greatness. I like to speak to youth groups, clubs, and schools so that I can speak to young women about what it’s like to become an entrepreneur on your own terms. Hopefully in doing so, I can inspire them to think about life and their futures.
Don’t Make It All About Being A Woman
As I mentioned earlier, being an awesome entrepreneur is about doing what you do extremely well and love. It’s not just about being a woman. Likewise, you don’t have to make what you do all about being a woman. In my consulting work, I enjoy working with female clients because there are certain kinds work that entrepreneurs need to do and I’ve found that my female clients are often a bit more open to doing that kind of work. However, as much as I enjoy working with female entrepreneurs, it’s the work with entrepreneurs in general that I adore, so I don’t gear work specifically to attract women as consultants
In the end, it’s not all about being a woman; it’s about being an awesome entrepreneur. And if you strive to be an awesome woman and an awesome entrepreneur, you’re pretty much destined to be an awesome woman entrepreneur.
So what about you? What makes you an awesome woman entrepreneur? What are your thoughts about the differences between male and female entrepreneurs?
